Meet Our Directors
House Representative Shea Roberts
Founder, Co-Director, United for Georgia Women
Representative Shea Roberts is a Georgia State Representative, attorney, real estate professional, and the Founder and Co-Director of United for Georgia Women (UFGW), a political action committee dedicated exclusively to electing Democrats to the Georgia House of Representatives and building a lasting Democratic majority.
First elected in 2020 after flipping a Republican-held seat in the northern suburbs of Atlanta, Shea has earned a reputation as a pragmatic leader who combines policy expertise with strategic political organizing. In the Georgia House, she has championed legislation to protect reproductive freedom, strengthen voting rights, improve public safety, expand access to quality education, and increase government accountability.
Recognizing that lasting policy change requires winning elections, Shea founded United for Georgia Women to identify, support, and strategically invest in the candidates most critical to securing a Democratic majority in the Georgia House. Under her leadership, UFGW has become one of Georgia's leading legislative PACs, providing targeted financial support, campaign strategy, and operational guidance to candidates in the state's most competitive house districts.
Outside the Capitol, Shea is an attorney and REALTOR® with decades of experience helping individuals, businesses, and communities navigate complex legal and real estate matters. She is passionate about developing the next generation of public servants and political leaders and frequently speaks on campaign strategy, fundraising, legislative leadership, and civic engagement.
Whether serving constituents, mentoring candidates, or building organizations that strengthen democracy, Shea is driven by a simple belief: meaningful change happens when principled leaders are willing to step forward, work together, and never stop fighting for the people they serve.
Anna Beck
Co-Director, United for Georgia Women
Anna Beck is a veteran political fundraiser, nonprofit strategist, and the Co-Director of United for Georgia Women (UFGW), a political action committee dedicated exclusively to electing Democrats to the Georgia House of Representatives and building a lasting Democratic majority.
For more than twenty years, Anna has helped build the financial infrastructure behind Georgia’s progressive movement, raising tens of millions of dollars to elect candidates, strengthen grassroots organizations, and expand democracy across the South. She has led finance operations for dozens of campaigns, including multiple statewide races, connecting in-state and national donors with the candidates and organizations best positioned to create lasting change. She was the first Executive Director of Georgia’s WIN List and most recently served as Development Director at Georgia Alliance for Progress, where the coalition raised more than $20 million to support Senator Raphael Warnock’s historic election and runoff victory.
In addition to her role at UFGW, Anna is the founder of Fishing Pole Strategies, a fundraising consulting firm that helps candidates and nonprofit leaders build sustainable fundraising programs that outlast the consultant. She also co-created Public Service to Public Power, an initiative that recruits, trains, and places former federal public servants affected by workforce reductions on the front lines of democracy protection.
Throughout her career, Anna has worked to connect philanthropy with the grassroots organizations leading change on the ground, ensuring resources reach the communities where they can have the greatest impact. She believes fundraising is one of the most powerful tools for social change because it creates opportunities to invest in leaders, movements, and communities that have too often been overlooked. She is passionate about reimagining philanthropy and political giving by directing resources more intentionally, equitably, and sustainably to help build a more inclusive South.
UFGW Provides Direct Support So Candidates Can Focus on Voters
Representative Tangie Herring, House District 145
“
As a first time candidate in a race targeted by the Governor, I truly believe that without Representative Roberts and United for Georgia Women, this seat would now be held by a Republican.
UFGW vetted my campaign, decided to invest, and asked ‘What do you need?’ Then, they consistently delivered. They trusted that I knew how to talk to my neighbors and gave us the resources we needed to do that.
UFGW is a model that should be replicated tenfold. Rep. Shea Roberts is a champion for electing and supporting women.
UFGW Builds the Infrastructure That Makes Competitive Races Winnable
Michelle Kang, Candidate for House District 99

In politics, you quickly learn the difference between an endorsement and a partnership. Representative Shea Roberts and United For Georgia Women are the definition of partners.
Shea didn't just help me run; she helped me prove that we could unseat a MAGA-backed incumbent in the closest race in the state. Coming within 621 votes in 2024 wasn't an accident—it was the result of UFGW’s robust infrastructure.
Now with strategic human resources of PS2PP program graduates, this team is the reason we are going to flip this seat in 2026.
Shea is a visionary for women in leadership, and I’m honored that she and her team are part of my campaign to win! Thank you, Shea, for building an organization that brings tangible change to Georgia!
